Social approach of Socapalm

Industrial relations, health, social security and welfare of our employees is our leitmotif. In Socapalm, special emphasis is placed on the respect for texts and regulations in force, as well as respect for human rights. Health and safety has always been the subject of concerted efforts and controlled by labour practitioners, as measures for prevention and sensibilisation in Socapalm’s villages and residents, peer educators in special programs on HIV / AIDS.
Each of Socapalm site is furnished with medical services whererby each staff together with their families receive free treatment, at the same time they are insured for health care, hospitalization and medical evacuation at the rate of 75 % by the company participation.
The Head Office vigorously encourages, continuous quality social dialogue within the establishments.To ensure non- discrimination in recruitment process, vacant posts are published and priority is given to inhouse employees of equal qualifications. In addition, instructions have been given to ensure that recruitment is done via a single point of entry on the website " socapalm@socapalm.org ".
Performance evaluation is regularly organized that result in career development, and targeted training programs.
Our code of ethics (code of ethics), which has been existing for almost a decade and was limited to coaching, is being revised in 2016. It will cover all social and professional groups.Socapalm guarantees trade union freedom and collective bargaining, this freedom has being constant for a number of years.
